SKIS Elementary department organized the English Book Week from 13th to 17th May.
The purpose was to encourage children to read more and enhance their literacy skills.
During the week, we guest speakers for all grades and children engaged and enjoyed listening to the storyteller(Sheila Wee),
learning stories from around the world and the author shared his writing journey(Neil Humphreys), showing us that stories are everywhere.
Students participated in fun literacy activities such as buddy reading, bookmark making, scavenger hunts, book reviews etc.
The children also decorated their classroom doors based on a book or a theme and participated in the character costume parade.
Everybody had great fun!
