On 16th September, our G3 students had a meaningful morning with students from Punggol Primary School as part of the school's Exchange Programme. It was our turn to be host to Punggol Primary School, and we prepared a myriad of activities for our Punggol friends. We started off with learning about Korean traditional rice cakes and we had a great hands-on experience of preparing them. The best part of this for many of the students was eating the rice cakes!

Our students then had the opportunity to share with our Punggol friends a bit of our Korean culture through playing traditional games like Ddakji and Yut Nori. Through this interaction, students were able to build stronger bonds with one another. The students from Punggol Primary School were also able to get a taste of doing taekwondo and students had great fun practising some basic skills together.

All in all, this exchange was a tremendously fulfilling experience for all the students involved. We learnt a bit more about each other's cultures, and also, although we are different in many ways, we share many similarities in our cultures too!
