Guided by our motto, "Rigorous Teaching & Meaningful Learning," we are pleased to present the SKIS English Language Learning Roadmap, designed to support and enhance our students' language proficiency.

True growth in language acquisition occurs through exposure to "comprehensible input" (i+1)—engaging with content that is just slightly beyond a student's current level. This process is much like strength training: real progress happens when students push through those final, challenging repetitions and remain consistent over time.

We hope this roadmap provides clear insight into our English curriculum and serves as a helpful guide for our students on their journey toward language mastery.

"꼼꼼한 가르침과 의미 있는 배움(Rigorous Teaching & Meaningful Learning)"이라는 SKIS의 영어 교육 슬로건 아래, 학생들의 영어 숙달도 향상을 위해 마련한 ‘영어 학습 로드맵’을 안내해 드립니다.

언어 습득 과정에서의 실질적인 성장은 학생의 현재 수준보다 약간 높은 수준의 콘텐츠를 접하는 ‘이해 가능한 입력(Comprehensible Input, i+1)’을 통해 이루어집니다. 이는 웨이트 트레이닝의 원리와 매우 유사합니다. 진정한 실력 향상은 한계에 다다른 마지막 한두 번의 시도를 끝까지 해내고, 이를 꾸준히 지속할 때 이루어집니다.
